Our origin · Est. 2019
For generations, Nigerian Arabica sat outside the global specialty conversation. We are quietly rewriting that chapter — through radical inclusion, climate-resilient production, and value that stays at origin.
Mai Shayi Coffee is Nigeria's first fully vertically integrated specialty coffee company: from a tissue-culture lab propagating DNA-authenticated Arabica, to 40,000 trees on Plateau State soil (75,000 by Q2 2026), to a cooperative network of 148 smallholder farmers, to our own wet mill, roastery and cafés.

The 2026 line is engineered as three tiers of the same Nigerian story — an accessible flagship, an elegant highland expression, and a reserve pinnacle. One brand voice, Three inflections.
Berries, maracuyá, blood orange, chocolate. Bright, juicy, sovereign — named after Queen Aminat of Zazzau.
Stone fruit, orange peel, milk chocolate, cashew. The elegant highland face of Nigerian specialty.
Citrus, brown sugar, jackfruit, raspberry, vanilla. The roaster's reserve — where Nigerian coffee sits with the world's finest.
